Building a Product from Scratch: From Idea to Launch

Thursday 23 July 11:00 – 12:00 Accelerator
Back to agenda
Bringing a product from idea to production involves far more than writing code. In this session, I will walk through the complete lifecycle of building and launching a real-world application — from defining the problem and prototyping, to choosing the right frontend and backend technologies, structuring architecture, and preparing for deployment. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how infrastructure, hosting, CI/CD, and environment management fit into the bigger picture of product delivery.

The talk will also explore critical but often overlooked aspects of launching to real users: authentication, secure API design, data protection, cybersecurity fundamentals, and the responsibilities developers carry when handling consumer data. Using practical examples, this session aims to bridge the gap between theory and real-world product execution.

By the end of this talk, attendees will understand what it truly means to move from “it works on my machine” to a secure, scalable, production-ready system — and how to approach building products with a more complete, professional mindset.
