This talk will cover the evolution of authentication, from traditional passwords to modern passwordless solutions, with a focus on Keycloak and the FIDO2 open authentication standard. First it will address the basic concepts of authorization and keycloak. Then it will dive into the workings of FIDO2 (WebAuthN + FIDO2) and finally a demo of a passwordless login flow using Keycloak and FIDO2 compliant authenticators (depending on availability) or using Chrome's WebAuthN Emulator will be carried out.
